Workshop by Eva Karczag & Bettina Neuhaus
The primary focus of the morning sessions will be to prepare and tune ourselves into readiness. We will explore our body-mind imagination and expand our availability to both follow and lead the material that emerges.
During the afternoons we will explore pathways that lead this body preparedness into improvising as a way of composing in the moment. We will carry our discoveries into performing for each other.
Our overall aim is to shed light on how a somatic practice can enrich a maker-performer’s relationship to their own body, their approach to generating material, the ways they engage with partners and colleagues and then bring these layers into performing. Part of this process includes honing presence, and exploring ways of watching and giving feedback.

FEE: 4500 CZK / 190 EUR (student, maternity leave discount 3500 CZK / 150 EUR)

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
To register for the workshop, we need your CV and motivation letter (why are you interested in this work at the moment). To save your spot, a deposit of 65 €/ 1500 CZK has to be made into our account, full participation fee need to be transfered by April 30, 2024.
If you have to cancel, we will refund your deposit minus 20 €/500 CZK administration costs if you cancel two weeks prior to the workshop. After that date we cannot refund your deposit. After the start of the workshop there cannot be a refund of the full sum.
