Mish graduated from linguistics (Chinese and English and American Studies) at the Charles University in Prague (2011, MA) and continued in studying at the Department of Authorial Creation and Pedagogy at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (2015, MFA) where she finished her phD studies in 2020 in Authorial Acting and its theory and psychosomatics. She spent half a year on a study internship in Nanjing, China (2007) and in London (2013) and participated in a various workshops, conferences and symposiums mostly as a lecturer of Dialogical Acting and theatre workshops.
As a pedagogue (movement disciplines, speech, Dialogical Acting and interpretation seminar), she has been working since 2016 for the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Theatre Faculty (DAMU) where she also leads the Authorial Acting since 2020. As a lecturer, she has experience with leading experimental speech and voice workshops, movement and theatre workshops on various occasions and festivals – from professional institutions to public events and amateur dance and theatre scenes.
Her longstanding research is focused on dance/movement improvisation as means of creation (since 2014) and instant composition as stage form (current research project). Great influences of her approach were encounters with Julyen Hamilton, Wendy Houstoun, Jiří Lossl, Rosalinda Crisp and other pedagogues and dance/theatre practitioners, and her own experiments with the discipline Dialogical Acting (since 2011, under the guidance of Professor Ivan Vyskočil, founder of the discipline).
Since 2017, she has been cooperating with a choreographer Mirka Eliášová as a performer and dramaturg (Refresh, Boxinbox, …to be continued?!).
In 2014, she co-founded Částečné znejistění (Partial Uncertainty) together with Jana Novorytová, a dancer, with whom she creates and performs authorial pieces and leads workshops (Lab4tools project). She is involved in other projects as a dancer, voice actor/singer or dramaturg. She has been cooperating with CrewCollective on various occasions and in different roles since 2017 (Moving Orchestra, Re-imagining a Brightly Lit Future etc.).
