Wake me up when we get there. About now. Some other time. Four teas from one tea pot. Four women, no technician. One of us starts to play the beat, another one starts to cry. A child, a cable, a light. Thousand transformations of a woman. But where is the man? You’ve got what you wanted. Did we get what we wanted? What was it that we wanted?
Four dancers — Veronika Knytlová, Anna Línová, Jana Novorytová and Mish Rais — meet on the stage to deliver a message about what it’s like to be a woman, a mother, someone or something in today’s society. Or maybe, simply, a woman in any time. They speak in a language of a fragmented era full of instructions for everything. But what is true or right? Can someone even tell the difference? The happiest are a single woman or a married man. It all happens at once. You’re on the playground, but your mind is at the opera. You’re at the opera, but your thoughts are at the playground. Try to guess who am I?
