The body as an instrument of sound. Movement as response. Sound as impulse.
Corpora sonantia / Resonant Bodies is a performative encounter of two people in space. They converse through rhythm, breath, and physical impulse. Each strike and sound triggers a wave, a resonance inscribed into the performers’ bodies. The bodies respond, becoming echoes, tremors, resonanting object – corpus sonans.
The performance explores the relationship between sound and body, between what comes from the outside and how it shapes our movement, perception, and action. What we hear and feel transforms who we are. The consonance of music and movement becomes both an aesthetic principle and a path to authenticity.
